Honestly to see him catch up to them and pass them was sort of dumb. I like this show quite a bit and I know they have to have the rematch and such but the author totally hosed it by having them so far ahead and then having him blow passed Onoda. This would not have even happened because Onoda caught up to his teammate and never saw him he was already ahead of him. Now I see why some are not happy with this part of the story . He was too far behind to make a comeback and pass Onoda it just would not happen and if it did he would be completely burnt and spent which means their would be no race between them. The author should have kept Manami close to Onoda this does not make sense at all.

Jesus christ it's like Onoda hasn't learned anything in the 5 seasons we've seen him. Fucking GO already when he's telling you, stop crying like a little bitch that your friend is tired.

I love this show but I feel like they've gotten worse and worse with the flashbacks. Back in previous seasons you still have some, of course, but they were shorter, and usually new "content" (like Arakita's backstory around ep 10 of season 2, I loved that). But this is just recylcing past scenes. Or literally scenes from the last episode or last 2 minutes. We did not forget they just said that, dudes... half this season feels like filler/recap. and we're literally close to the end, get a move on!

Manami is completely right, it's a shame their rematch has to be at the end again. It's almost like the author made it that way on purpose, oh wait they did. Why make this inter high a near copy of the last one? Naruko and Midosuji dropped out again?? I really want Manami to redeem himself and win, and Onoda needs to experience losing a race. I'm really only still watching so that I can see the boys get their 3 man finish in their last inter high, and also see Sugimoto finally catch up to his classmates.

I actually got tired of waiting and peaked at the manga. If you want to know what I found out and don't care to be spoiled,Onoda wins again...and actually gets named the next captain...First of all the author just hates Manami at this point. It just sucks cause if Sohoku was going to win again, why not have Naruko or Imaizumi win? It's actually copying the first inter high, lazy writing, and it just means less

the author hates midosouji the most, just look at all his record in all season, he's basically the best all rounder out there, he even won 2 colored tags at one point, and even then he still kept winning tags.. he even won a sprint race vs naruko.. he's is good at shaving gaps by cutting corners. bro is too good that he can still compete with well built teams even tho he have trash teammates, he got one descent guy but he cant even control the muscle junky, the rest are just average.

We waste 4 or 5 episodes or more to get Junta and his friend who gave up on the race. Only get two episodes for the fight against Midousuji who also gave up (for the second time) But at least it looks like we will get as many episodes as Junta had this entire season to see Onoda vs Manami

meh.. you could've had 3 way battle with onoda manami and kuroda. Or maybe onoda, imaizumi, manami. Or even all out battle between those last 5 including imaizumi and midousuji.
Cmon, make it more exciting than fkin another onoda vs manami. We already knew what the other did if they only 1v1. At least create some kind of 3rd party there.

Nah, best trio to race till the end would have been Onoda, Manami and Midosuji. Each fighting for their respective team and the charge up would have been way more Epic!

This season seems repetitive to me. I will stick to the end since I saw it for so long with high expectations, but I can currently see Onoda taking this again just like last year.

I love how time stops when they talk because 2km would be like 3-4 mins lol. They did this with the captains w/e his name is moment with his new char friend that now has more back story then some of the main chars also at some point I just have to wonder what the other 100 or so riders are even doing here at this inter-high race considering the two freshmen from last year are going to be 1 and 2 AGAIN. Midousuji should have showed up now and won so we can get a revenge match for next year with out DUMB and DUMBER "2nd years" on the team then you could have the 1,2,3 finish while its their final year and end the show because I would bet Onoda is going to lose and the show ends

I could walk faster than the pace they would have to be going for 2km to not change a whole episode.
